Any mode and breath type can be used for noninvasive
ventilation. Using the HT50, rather than a bilevel pressure device, for
NIV means you are not limited to pressure ventilation. |
 |
Keep breathing circuit deadspace minimized to reduce
carbon dioxide rebreathing. |
 |
Choose breathing circuits carefully. Many disposable
breathing circuits/exhalation valves will not allow the HT50 to function
as designed. Use only Newport approved circuits/exhalation valves. |
The HT50 Ventilator’s comprehensive, versatile features meet the demands
of almost any healthcare setting. Suitable for both pediatric (≥10kg) and
adult patients, the HT50 is fully self contained and provides up to 10 hours
of operation from its internal battery. Reliable, rugged and portable the
HT50 offers patients effective invasive or non-invasive ventilatory support
any where they need it – for hospital,
home, transport
or extended care |
